We all have creative baggage, things that get in the way and prevent us from making the work we need to make. I've been working through my baggage for more than 15 years, and I finally found a way to articulate the process I use to get through my ruts. It goes like this:

Clear - Play - Fuel - Generate - Reflect

Having a process is everything. It gets you through the shit and back on your way. Identifying a process that works for you is key to learning how to trust yourself as an artist. My new online course is all about helping participants do this. I'm pumped to introduce:

Creative Momentum

An 8-week course in building
and sustaining your creative practice.

Thursday nights, 6:30-8pm CT
March 26 - May 14th

You do not need a BFA, MFA, or hell, a high school diploma to be an artist. But you do need a sustainable way to reflect on what you’re doing, dig deeper, and draw out your own voice. Sometimes that requires a little help.

In this course, I’ll share techniques I’ve developed over the last 15 years that have helped me get out of my own way, again and again.

This course is for anyone who wants to take their creative work more seriously and learn something about themselves along the way. You’ll leave with greater insights into your work habits, a small community of like-minded peers, and an actual process you can use to get some creative momentum.

Hope you can join us. It's going to be radical. 🔥
