Collected Images: The Collage Artist Book

Excited to launch a few new classes in Brooklyn this summer at the Brooklyn Brainery. As an obsessive collector of materials (so much so that my studio floor is starting to be hard to find...) I'm hosting Collected Images: The Collage Artist book,  as a way to bring meaning to these materials in a narrative format. In this workshop, students will work to connect content to form, using the artist book as a place to gather, organize, and even meditate on their relationship to the materials they surround themselves with - why are they worth holding on to? What do we hope to find in them? The course will offer a place to reflect on and discuss these ideas.
